About
I owned and managed my professional language
training institute for 10 years and worked in-company 
where I trained non-native professionals from many
industries in communications skills for many years before
having my institute. This experience has given me
insight into what professionals want and what is
effective in terms of training methods. 

As a writer, I have written both long and short pieces for diverse sectors such as healthcare, tourism, education, and the wine industry. I have just completed a 3-year mandate as a technical publication specialist for a multinational medical device company.

I am an English native and am bilingual English-French. These double languages give me a better understanding of the language difficulties of French natives when they learn English. It also means that I am multicultural - and so understand how cultural differences impact work and human relations.

My qualifications
I won't go into too much detail here. I hold two Masters of Arts - one in Applied Linguistics & TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and one in Open and Distance Learning. With the knowledge I gained, I have focused on language acquisition and writing for all of my career. 

As a firm believer in continuing education, I also hold multiple certificates - one recently acquired in regulatory writing. Other certificates include medical writing and editing.
